The Glory Part 2 brings a lot of surprises for viewers with its intense emotions and the exceptional performance of the cast. Notably, the character Choi Hye Jung (played by Cha Joo Young) delivers a powerful and quick transformation, becoming the center of attention and creating a stir throughout the series.
In episode 13, Choi Hye Jung has a fierce confrontation with Park Yeon Jin (played by Lim Ji Yeon), where she tears off a dress and throws it at her “rival” after Park Yeon Jin comments that she bought the dress herself. This scene, showcasing the character’s raw emotions, has left the audience in awe due to its boldness.
Many viewers have discussed whether Cha Joo Young actually performed the scenes or if they were just CG (computer-generated) effects.

On March 14, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho released a video discussing whether the intense confrontation scene of Choi Hye Jung was real or not. He explained: “Everyone is currently debating if Choi Hye Jung had a body double or not.”
“Many opinions suggest that Cha Joo Young did use a body double, as the credit at the end of the film lists Lee Do Yeon – the actress who portrayed Choi Hye Jung,” he added.
To delve deeper into this matter, Lee Jin Ho consulted Kim Doo Ho, a professional video expert, to explore whether body doubles were utilized and if different body doubles were used with CGI. Kim Doo Ho explained: “Looking at the angles of the shoulders and lighting, it is very possible that it was done using CGI.”
Lee Jin Ho elaborated: “Does this mean they used a body double and then replaced the face with Cha Joo Young’s?,” suggesting that the production might have employed CG and deep fake technology – a method that uses artificial intelligence to take images and voice of one person and superimpose them onto the video of another person.
“Even when they are both trying to style their hair similarly, there are still differences in the hair texture. I think they did use a body double and then applied deep fake technology,” the expert noted.
To this day, Netflix has yet to comment on this matter.

Moreover, the intense confrontation scenes may not be necessary as they do not add significant value to the storyline. According to Koreaboo, many viewers have criticized the excessive amount of footage, claiming it was overwhelming and distracting. Many believe that the director could have filmed the background scenes separately without needing to include those elements.
In addition to the criticism, many audience members have expressed their discontent with the director’s vision. From the beginning, the producers labeled the film as 18+ due to its numerous violent scenes, which is quite provocative…
