Harry Potter: The Battle Against Voldemort
When we think of Harry Potter, we cannot overlook the moment when Voldemort attacked the Potter household on that fateful night! Harry Potter, since his time at Hogwarts, has captivated the attention of many, including those who are not particularly fond of him. Even towards the end of the second film, the protagonist of the magical world had already “made a significant impact” right under the magical world’s radar.

Referring back to the second film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter successfully defeated a Basilisk and thwarted Voldemort’s return through Tom Riddle’s diary. At this point, Professor Dumbledore had a confrontation with the sneaky Lucius Malfoy, who had been subtly imposing dark intentions on Ginny through the diary. After Lucius left with his house-elf Dobby, Harry Potter took the opportunity to free Dobby.

Harry Potter trapped the diary in his possession and handed it to Lucius with the intention of creating conditions for Dobby to receive a sock directly from Lucius. The house-elf, upon receiving an item of clothing from his master, would be free, and Dobby had successfully escaped Lucius’s “bondage.” In a moment of panic, Lucius had drawn his wand, preparing to attack Harry, but Dobby intervened to protect him.

Looking back and considering the implications, when Lucius Malfoy uttered the words “Avada Kedavra“, the lethal curse was intended for Harry Potter. The critical point is that if Dobby hadn’t acted quickly, Lucius Malfoy might have succeeded in eliminating the main character, thus closing the chapter right there.

This detail was later confirmed by the actor Jason Isaacs, who portrayed Lucius Malfoy, in an interview. The reason he stated for the significant impact of the character is that at that moment, he delivered the only fatal curse he ever pronounced. The narrative doesn’t explicitly state what Lucius was thinking, but the act of drawing his wand and attacking Harry was a pivotal moment.

It can be said that Harry Potter has often found himself in perilous situations throughout his journey. If he hadn’t had friends by his side, the “boy who lived” created by J.K. Rowling certainly would not have made it to the end – ultimately defeating the Dark Lord.
