At the beginning of November, after 55 episodes and over 4 months of broadcasting, the first part of the Chinese animated series Tru Tiên: Thanh Vân Chí officially came to a close. With the tragic death of Bích Dao, the conclusion of this series has evoked a lot of emotions for the audience, filled with regret and anticipation.
And just as fans do not have to wait too long, the second part of the series will continue to be screened in mid-December. This can be seen as good news for fans of Tru Tiên in particular and Chinese animated series in general.
Notably, Tru Tiên: Thanh Vân Chí is an animated adaptation of the famous fantasy novel series Tru Tiên by the author Tiều Đĩnh. The work has been regarded as one of the “Top 3 Classics” on the Internet in China and has garnered a lot of love from the audience in China specifically and Asian countries in general (including Vietnam).
If the first part of the series focused on the love story between Trương Tiểu Phàm (voiced by Lý Dịch Phong) and Bích Dao (voiced by Triệu Lệ Dĩnh), the second part will continue the storyline between Quỷ Lệ (the name of Trương Tiểu Phàm when he enters the demon realm) and Lục Tuyết Kỳ (Dương Tử).
With the two main female characters Bích Dao and Lục Tuyết Kỳ, since Tru Tiên was originally a novel, many distinctive characteristics have been compared between these two beautiful characters. Even when the work was adapted into a film and aired, this comparison became even more fierce. There will definitely be one of the top highlights for fans when watching Thanh Vân Chí 2. After many appearances for Bích Dao in the first part, this second part will be a unique stage for Lục Tuyết Kỳ.
According to the announcement from the production company, Tru Tiên: Thanh Vân Chí 2 will start airing from December 8. This screening will be exclusively for those with VIP accounts on QQ (a social networking platform in China). By the end of January 2017, the film will be aired on Beijing Television and be available for free on various film websites.
