Zeus Faces Challenges with Riot’s Policies
As the 2025 competitive season for League of Legends (LoL) approaches, Riot Games has implemented several changes to refine the meta that has been dominating the professional scene since early 2024. Moreover, Riot aims to conclude this meta strategically, allowing champions to potentially “one-hit” turrets during interactions. However, following community feedback, Riot has had to revise these changes, inadvertently complicating the meta further.

In a recent statement, Zeus commented: “It differs from what I expected. I thought the meta would be toned down, but considering the current state, this meta remains prevalent. Furthermore, with Riot’s policies and the introduction of the Fearless Draft, the champion pool has become more diverse, which might make the meta even more dangerous and complicated.”

Zeus is known for his exceptional skills and versatility as a player. This allows him to adapt to various styles, whether playing as a carry or filling a support role. The HLE team also possesses high-level skills and diverse playstyles. Therefore, despite the ongoing meta, they continue to perform well, and alongside Gen.G, they are currently one of the top two teams in the LCK with an impressive winning streak. The only defeat for HLE during the 2025 Regular Seasons was against the current MSI champion.

Zeus Ready to “Plant Seeds” for T1 Once Again
Since joining T1, Zeus has been completely dominant in all matches against rival teams. However, there is one caveat: Zeus has yet to reunite with Gumayusi, who has been a key player in their roster.
As a result, the match between T1 and HLE during Week 8 of the 2025 Regular Season is set to be highly anticipated. T1 may not be the unbeatable force it once was, but Zeus’s potential to shine against a strong opponent like HLE remains very high, especially as HLE continues to show its prowess day by day.
