On June 11, The Sun from the UK revealed shocking details regarding Stefano Tomadini’s casting history. Recently, an insider from the film crew disclosed: “The casting directors decided to hire a number of male actors with a sexy appeal to portray the sea creatures in the film.”
According to The Sun, Stefano Tomadini has appeared in three drag performance videos under the name Dante Ferrari. This actor is reported to have been paid between £800 and £1,000 for each video. The content of these videos featuring Stefano Tomadini is said to be available for viewing through a payment system and has not been taken down.
Sources indicate that Disney was unaware of this prior to the casting announcement. Furthermore, since the film is a “summer blockbuster aimed at children,” the lack of awareness regarding this information was deemed “unfortunate.”
